Located on University Mall, Ponderosa Commons is a favorite among students for its large study spaces and nearby restaurants. It consists of four high rise buildings named after the variety of trees we have on campus. Residents can choose to live in a studio, a two-bedroom apartment, or a four-bedroom apartment with a private washroom, kitchen, laundry area, living space, and a fully furnished room. Similar to Marine Drive, this residence is perfect for Sauder and Arts students as it is close to most classes and lecture halls. One of the more recent additions to UBC, Ponderosa Commons boasts gorgeous views of campus, the mountain ranges beyond campus, and University Boulevard.

rBeing one of the newer residences on campus, Ponderosa is generally a very clean and modern space to live in, with a great location near most places on campus.
