Named after British Columbia’s Indigenous people, Totem Park is a recently established first-year residence that offers housing to 2,130 students. It features 10 mixed gender houses with both mixed and single-gender floors. Some Totem Park dorms offer a view of the ocean as it is located on Marine Drive. Totem Park is known for its appetizing dining hall “Feast” where many on-campus students dine. Among residents, Totem Park is a hub for social activity and events. It offers a communal space where students can study, and meet other residents.

Shuswap is one of the older houses so it isnt as nice as the others, but it's still pretty decent. Also had a great sense of community. It was about a 15 minute walk away from most of my classes.

I was in Kwakiutl house, it was a tad bit old and I really didn't understand how the heater system worked... But it was a great residence with a lot of rez life.

My room was on the first floor, so I didn't get a lot of sunlight. Large room tho.
